Veterans Day Activities
Veterans Day is just a couple of days away! Today, we spend the morning learning all about the holiday. We started a KWL chart, read some fact cards about Veterans, and colored a mini book. My son loved the mini book...he thought the tank and airplane were way cool. He had to get out all of his tanks and airplanes afterward to play!Tomorrow we will be working on writing an Acrostic poem about Veterans, and writing some "thank you" letters to mail to some friends deployed in Afghanistan.
